Rules for taking patronage by Upper Silesian Fund SA in Katowice
Upper Silesian Fund SA may take patronage of projects related to the scope of statutory activity and projects of special importance for the development of regional entrepreneurship.
I. General information
1. In order to apply for the patronage of Upper Silesian Fund SA, the project organizer should:
- at least 1 month before the planned event, submit an application to Upper Silesian Fund SA for patronage
- attach to the letter a completed application form for the project to be under the patronage of Upper Silesian Fund SA
- justify the relationship between the planned event and the scope of activities and competences of Upper Silesian Fund SA
2. Only complete applications will be considered – including a cover letter and a form
3. Documents must be sent in paper form to the following address:

4. The patronage granted by Upper Silesian Fund SA is an expression of support and recognition of activities undertaken within the framework of a given initiative. It does not mean a declaration of personal participation of an Upper Silesian Fund SA representative in the event, financial or organizational support
5. Participation in the venture by a representative of Upper Silesian Fund SA, delivering lectures on currently implemented and available programs and / or on a topic convergent with the theme of the event will be the subject of separate arrangements
6. In the case of cyclical projects, patronage is granted for one edition at a time
7. In the case of applications for the participation of the Management Board of Upper Silesian Fund SA in the Honorary Committee / Chapter, the procedure is analogous
II. Detailed information
1. The organizer, who received the patronage of Upper Silesian Fund SA, has the right to use the Upper Silesian Fund SA logo in information and promotional materials regarding the project (including during the event)
2. All materials in which the Upper Silesian Fund SA logo is used are subject to the approval of Upper Silesian Fund SA
3. Upper Silesian Fund SA offers the organizers of events covered by the patronage the following forms of promotion:
- placing information about the project on the Upper Silesian Fund SA website
- placing a link to the project organizer’s website, which contains information about the event or to the project’s website
- electronic sending by Upper Silesian Fund SA of information on the organized undertaking to KSU and RIF
- centers obtaining information materials about Upper Silesian Fund SA, implemented programs in electronic version and free information materials of Upper Silesian Fund SA depending on their availability
4. Information about the undertaking’s patronage will be sent to the organizer in writing.
5. Refusal of patronage does not require any justification
6. The project organizer is required to submit information on the implementation of the project within 7 days from the date of completion of the project, whose patron was Upper Silesian Fund SA
